Tiles are primarily low-relief, press-molded, fired with a variety of glazes, and primarily made of a mid-temperature light clay, with some examples made of low-fire terra cotta clay. Other techniques include: hand-painting or carving with colored slips, majolica (white base glaze with painted
colored oxides), and, inlay (contrasting colors.) Tile pieces are presented individually or mounted on a backing.
